[Food. Marketing.]. Electrotype printing blocks and samples. . Seventeen Electroype steel printing blocks with stamped envelopes addressed to "Ideal Baking Co." in Reidsville NC. along with sixteen [i.e. one lacking] 75 x 120mm slips bearing an imprint from the block as well as added text.
Based on the style of illustration and the stamps on the envelpopes this unusual group of object and ephemera dates from approximately 1923. I have never encountered a similar item. While only speculation, it is possible these were advertizements for a newspaper, or perhaps these slips were tucked in with loaves of bread. (#kfk816) $300

A strange juxtaposition of aesthetic appeal and cold clinical description of a terribly horrible weapon. (#kfk548) SOLD
